Antonetta (DelPozzo) Caniglia, of West Warwick, dies aged 84

Caniglia, Antonetta (DelPozzo), 84, of West Warwick, died on Tuesday February 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Cesare Caniglia, Jr. Born in Tora, Caserta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Palmerino and Teresa (DiSalvo) DelPozzo.

She was a devout Catholic and a faithful communicator of Sacred Heart Church where she volunteered on several church committees. She was also a member of the Italian Heritage Committee. Her life was dedicated to her family and her deep faith, which she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

She was the loving mother of Ann Marie Ray and her husband Mathew and Rita A. Boisclair and her husband Paul (WWFD Battalion Commander); and her two beloved grandchildren, Laura Boisclair and Brian Boisclair (WWFD); two siblings, Concetta Imbriglio of Tora, Caserta, Italy and Simeone DelPozzo of Rome, Italy and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Luisa Montanaro, Samuele DelPozzo, Palmina DelPozzo and Anna DiPadua.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Christian Burial Mass on Saturday February 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick (masks will be required). The burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Sacred Heart Church in her memory would be appreciated.
