The Catholic Diocese of Indore will celebrate a 10th three-day Biblical Mahotsav this weekend, starting on Friday.
It will be inaugurated by the Bishop of the Diocese of Indore (Dr) Chacko Tottumaickal SVD and Father Bobby VC on October 22 at 10 a.m.
The three-day program will be as follows – the first session will be from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., during which members of the community can attend the prayer and sermon. The second session will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., during which there will be prayers and sermons. Father Bobby, one of India’s most renowned Catholic preachers, will lead this Mahotsav for three days.
“Bearing in mind the current status of this three-day Mahotsav Bible, members of the Catholic community will offer prayers to God for the social welfare, good health, spiritual development of the whole world and all human race, ”BA Alavares, representative of Indore Christian Media Forum, said.
He added that in particular, the community will pray for India.
“We will pray that God will bless every Indian with happiness, prosperity, splendor, close family relationships, economic progress and above all spiritual growth,” Father Babu said of the forum.
There will be a sermon on various essential Bible verses during the Mahotsav. The three-day Mahotsav will end on the evening of October 24 at around 6 p.m.
The entire program will be online. Therefore, all the faithful were urged by Bishop Chacko to take all Covid-19 precautions and ensure their online participation in this whole ceremony with devotion.
