CARIBOU, Maine — All are invited to kick off Mother’s Day weekend by following Jesus on his journey to Calvary through his mother’s eyes.

The Daughters of Isabelle Circle 638 in Caribou will lead Mary’s Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m. Friday, May 6 at 3 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church. The event aims to honor Mary and all mothers ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8.

It is a Catholic tradition through the centuries to meditate on the Stations of the Cross. Mary, Mother of Jesus, made the first Stations of the Cross, and this presentation will attempt to show this perspective and use it to help participants make positive and practical applications in their own lives.

Founded in 1947, Daughters of Isabella Circle 638 aims to unite Catholic women in the Caribou region for community, faith sharing and the pursuit of good.
