If you have questions about almost any community resource — housing, childcare, health, aging services and more — you’ll likely find some guidance at a resource fair Friday at the Lawrence Public Library.

The Library, 707 Vermont St., will host the fair from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in its auditorium.

The following agencies and organizations will be on hand so you can speak to someone directly about various needs:

• Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center

• Lawrence Douglas County Housing Authority

• Northeast Kansas Catholic Charities


• Community center for children

• From tenants to owners

• Heartland Community Health Center

• Department of Childhood and Family

•Lawrence Humane Society

• Transport Saint-Laurent

• Kansas Suicide Prevention Headquarters

• Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging


The event will also feature coffee, hot chocolate, winter accessories and face painting.
