National Signing Day is in the rearview mirror, but the 2023 recruiting cycle is already in full swing as some of the nation’s top high school football players announce their respective college decisions.
During the week of Feb. 5 through Feb. 11, seven players from the Class of 2023 signed up for a Power Five college football program. Three of those players are rated as four-star prospects according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
The list of Power Five schools that got at least one commitment this week includes (in alphabetical order): Baylor, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern (2), Notre Dame and Penn State.
It should be noted that verbal commitments are non-binding and prospects for the Class of 2023 will not be able to formalize it until the Division I early signing period in December. Those who choose not to sign initially will be able to do so on National Signing Day on February 1, 2023.
With that in mind, scroll down to take a look at the Class of 2023 prospects who have engaged in a Power Five program over the past week.
