The 2022 recruiting cycle is in full swing as some of the country’s top high school football players continue to announce their respective decisions at the university level.
In the week starting November 20 and ending November 26, 28 players engaged in a Power Five college football program, including 21 class 2022 prospects and seven underclassmen. Of the players who signed up this week, one is rated as a five-star prospect and five are rated as a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite.
The list of Power Five schools that got at least one engagement this week includes (in alphabetical order): Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi State (2), Missouri (2), Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon State (2), Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas, Texas Tech (3), Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington State and Wisconsin.
It should be noted that the verbal commitments are not binding and that the candidates of the 2022 promotion will not be able to formalize it until the early signing period of Division I, which begins on December 15, 2021 and ends on December 17, 2021. Those who choose not to sign during the first period will be able to do so on the national signing day on February 2, 2022.
