Tennessee added more than a dozen first-timers to its 2022 recruiting class in January, but that hasn’t stopped the Vols from having another handful of players join the program as summer registrants. The other eight signatories to the class — two late additions earlier this month made them 10 additions in total — have moved to campus in recent weeks for the start of summer classes and strength and conditioning training. Finally, the Vols are a complete football team and will step up their preparations for the upcoming season during the third phase of their offseason.
A pair of four-star rushers are the headliners among Tennessee’s non-transfer summer registrants, a group that also includes a fast running back, a pair of offensive linemen and a few secondary additions. After the Vols recruited their first 10 attacking registrants, the summer arrivals include six defensive players.
