Margaret A. “Peggy” Bicanovsky, 85, of Toledo, Ohio, died February 23, 2022. Peggy was born November 4, 1936, the daughter of Joseph A. and Tillie H. (Michalak) Tucholski. Peggy graduated in 1954 from Central Catholic High School and previously worked as a secretary for Gulf Oil. She married Carl S. Bicanovsky on June 2, 1961 and he predeceased her. She was a longtime member of St. Jude and St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, and she always carried a strong Catholic faith with her.
When Peggy wasn’t working, she was an avid housewife. She was very proud of her family and created memories with her children and grandchildren; from trips to Disney on Ice to lunch dates, she enjoyed all the time she spent with her family.
Peggy embraced her Polish heritage and had a love for authentic Polish dinner, especially duck soup. In her spare time, she loved to travel, take day trips, and loved watching Hallmark movies of all kinds. Peggy will be particularly missed during her monthly lunches with her good friends, Mary Pat and Carolyn.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Audrey (Brad) Fankhauser, Jeff (Mary Jo) Bicanovsky, Debra (Tim) Floyd, and Stephen (Jen) Bicanovsky; Grandchildren Jordan, Austin, Jacob, Derek, Aaron, Morgan, Austin, Bailey, Spencer, Kenny, Devon; 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was predeceased by her parents; 8 siblings, Joseph, Richard, Thomas, Albion, Franklin, Theodore Tucholski, Mary Durfy and Rita Krieger.
In your memories of our beloved Peggy, remember her words; “I love you, whatchamacallit, and that.”
