Fulton Town News:

  • The City of Fulton Police Department will step up efforts to enforce New York State law that requires motorists to stop when a pedestrian is in a crosswalk, as announced Fulton Mayor Deana Michaels and Fulton Police Chief Mike Curtis. Full story here.
  • NET & Die, Inc. in Fulton is looking to relocate its multi-generational machine shop to the former K-Mart construction site; The Fulton Common Council voted unanimously to apply for a RestoreNY grant to revive the company’s vision at a meeting on Tuesday, October 4. Full article here.
  • The Oswego County Community Services Board will be hosting a “Make a Change” hiring event from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday, October 18 at Oswego County Catholic Charities, 808 West Broadway in Fulton. Full story here.

  • The CNY Pumpkin Festival took place this past weekend at Washington Square Park in Oswego from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 1 and 2. Photo gallery here.
  • The Oswego City School District School Board met on the evening of October 4, 2022, with all members in attendance. Full story here.
  • On Wednesday, October 5, the City of Oswego Drug Task Force and the Oswego County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the City of Oswego. As a result of this search warrant, Adam L. Levea, 42, of Oswego was arrested as it is alleged he possessed 205 individual packs of heroin/fetanyl combination and five suboxone strips with intent to sell them . Full story here.
  • The Friends of Oswego Public Library, in conjunction with the Oswego Opera Theater and the Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum, will host a special program featuring the story of the rediscovery of the music and lyrics of “The Golden Cage”, an operetta composed by two of the refugees who lived at Fort Ontario’s Safe Haven from August 1944 to February 1946.
