Continuing to see his stock rise over the past year, the Birmingham, Alabama native Christophe Vizzina showed today why he is one of the hottest names in the country. Vizzina, who is 6-foot-4 and 207 pounds, had her performance in perfect control from start to finish. The Briarwood High School star showcased a live arm but with improved accuracy and ball placement, making clean throw after throw at all three levels. Vizzina also appeared comfortable in and out of the pocket, showing off his athleticism on the perimeter as another added dimension to his game. Vizzina currently ranks as the No. 53 prospect in the Top247 and quarterback -back No. 7 among his group of positions. Vizzina holds offers from Clemson, Florida, Ole Miss and Notre Dame, among others.
Ranked top prospect by 247Sports in the Class of 2024, native of Charlotte, NC Jadyn Davis showed why he is one of the nation’s most wanted prospects on Sunday. Listed at 6-foot, 185 pounds, Davis boasts an explosive arm with the ability to make every throw on the field. While the arm talent is undeniable, Davis still has room for improvement in his game as his game continues to find consistency as a passer. The Providence Day High School standout moved well, showcasing his athletic ability and ability to play off-platform, as those traits should be a big part of his next-level game. Davis has offers from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and Notre Dame, among others.
Charlotte commits Sean Boyle of Charlotte Catholic (NC) put on one of the most impressive performances of the afternoon displaying a quick release with the ability to locate the ball accurately and consistently throughout the day. Playing in a more traditional under-center offense in high school potentially limited some of Boyle’s exposure as a passer, which for now is a good thing for the 49ers, who appear to have landed Boyle a steal. Don’t be surprised if you see Boyle start getting more attention on the track.
Jayden Bradford, a recent transfer to IMG Academy (Fla), flashed throughout the afternoon. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, Bradford shares some similarities with signal caller Top247 Jadyn Davis who was also present. Having few issues with the ability to drive the ball and play with speed, Bradford will need to continue to improve quarterback nuances but certainly seems to have attractive clay to work with. Bradford has offers from South Carolina, Penn State, Virginia Tech and others.
Lipscomb Academy Quarterback (Tennis) Braden Graham improved throughout the day as he was one of the best performers in the second half of the event. The Tennessee native looked sharp in the pocket, displaying polished mechanics and an accurate ball. Graham has offers from Kentucky, Georgia and Ole Miss, among others.
Georgia native and Houston County High School star Antwann Hill Jr showed the physical edge which is easy to see at his age. Hill, who is just a freshman, seems to be only scratching the surface of his potential as he continues to progress through the job, but has shown why he is already attracting attention in the process of recruitment. Hill holds offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Texas A&M.
Sophomore Signal Caller Kamari McClellan from Clay Chalkville High School (Alabama) impressed throughout the afternoon. Already holding a handful of Power Five deals, McClellan has shown why he has so far caught the eye of some big programs. The Alabama native displayed a good pace of play in and out of the pocket, displaying a silky release with the ability to get the ball out from different angles. Although he’s still setting it up, McClellan is fun to watch on the football field. McClellan has offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech and South Carolina.
One of Florida State’s only attendees, Cardinal Gibbons High School Dylan Rizk did good things throughout the afternoon. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Rizk has a strong frame and clean mechanics showing the ability to get the ball out quickly. Rizk helped Gibbons go 11-2 as a junior, completing over 67% of his passes along the way. Rizk holds offers from Indiana and Kentucky, among others.
Joshua Jones, a standout from Westover High School (NC), played big on Saturday afternoon. Standing 5-foot-11½ and 184 pounds, the North Carolina native took top honors for top test figures at the Atlanta Regional, posting an explosive vertical of 39 inches and a shuttle of 4.25. Although he threw the ball well, don’t be surprised if Jones starts to get attention in other positions as programs will look to capitalize on his athleticism.
Some other quarterbacks who flashed throughout the day included Braylen Ragland, LaNorris Sellers and Colter Ginn.
