WATCH: Auburn running back Jeremiah Cobb scores on 57-yard touchdown run

Auburn has a handful of exciting offensive players in the 2023 recruiting class, but Jeremiah Cobb is a special player.

Montgomery’s Catholic running back is a scoring machine. Every time he touches the ball, there is a high chance that he will separate from the opposing defenders. At the high school level, there aren’t many players more explosive than the Auburn commit.

His speed is one of the many traits that make him an elite back. Its versatility is hard to miss. He can outrun defenders, he can use power to drop forward on a carry down the middle and also be a threat out of the backfield.

On Friday night, Cobb snapped a road run against Booker T. Washington in regional action. As soon as he received the ball, he fired a cannon into the open field.

The 4-star running back was timed with a 100-yard sprint time of 11.15 as a junior on the track. He showed that speed on that score.

Cobb committed to Auburn against the Clemson Tigers and Tennessee Volunteers on July 1. The Montgomery native was seen regularly wearing Auburn gear to start his senior season at Montgomery Catholic.
